About Brisbane SPARK

Brisbane SPARK is a grassroots foundation created by Brisbane residents, with the support of the City of Brisbane. Our mission is to provide financial support for public spaces and programs that inspire joy, connection, and community for current and future generations. Brisbane SPARK is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit that works closely with the City's Parks & Recreation Department and Parks & Recreation Commission. As a non-profit foundation, we can channel donations from the community to invest in the parks and public spaces we all love.

A parks foundation for Brisbane gives the community a way to invest in public spaces that benefit everyone. Brisbane SPARK can help support community goals such as scholarships for recreation programs, seating along walking trails, playground renovations, and upgrades to beloved facilities like the Mission Blue Center and the Solano Street Tot Lot playground. Through individual contributions, major gifts, corporate donations, and legacy endowments, Brisbane SPARK will build momentum for improvements in our town now and into the future.
